Zachem is one of the most highly esteemed regulatory professionals in Washington, managing more than 200 employees nationwide. Where are the biggest growth areas for women in cable?

Having leadership roles in analyzing customer service, consumer demand, pricing decisions and the like – women are making most of the buying decisions on our customer side so our expertise and mindset are valuable tools.

 

What’s the most important aspect of mentoring?

Recognizing that all mentees are not you and are not looking for the same things you looked for and/or have different skillsets than you – requires you to think hard about what best advice to pass along.

 

What/who inspires you at work?

The competition and new entrants and the need to develop advocacy alongside of it.
