Zachern has lead Comcast’s advocacy before federal agencies, including the FCC and state regulatory and legislative bodies. She is one of the most highly esteemed regulatory professionals in Washington, and as administrative co-leader of Comcast’s D.C. office, she manages more than 200 employees spread across the nation. She was recently named as a board member of the Washington Tennis & Educational Foundation. But Zachem has a playful side. She’d swap jobs for a month with a card dealer, “preferably one who deals blackjack,” she says. “I love the dynamics at a full table. There’s a fabulous mix of personalities, but it’s probably a very different take from the dealer’s perspective.”
