What’s the most important aspect of mentoring?
I believe that an important goal of mentoring is to develop the future leaders for your company. To do this, it is important to invest in and sincerely care about your mentee’s professional success and personal well-being and to listen with a patient, thoughtful, compassionate ear in order to provide constructive advice and support.
What/who inspires you at work?
My colleagues. I’m fortunate to work with intelligent, hardworking people who are truly dedicated to our business.
Your favorite trick for unwinding?
I love to read, particularly mystery novels. I’m currently making my way through Louise Penny’s fantastic Chief Inspector Gamache series.
