Julia Veale
EVP, Business Product Development & Management, Showtime Networks
Veale’s relationships with key technology companies including Apple, Amazon, Google and more, as well as her expertise in digital services, have made her a real power player in the tech space. Growth in streaming video services is the biggest story in cable this year, she says. And that has been a top priority for her at Showtime. She has been a part of the network’s standalone streaming service negotiations with key Internet partners, and the formation of the joint venture with the Smithsonian Institution to create Smithsonian Networks. During the upcoming year, Veale will pursue new opportunities for the streaming service with new partners and platforms.
