Queen has had a big year, highlighted by the execution of major carriage deals for AMC with DirectTV Now and YouTube TV. He also was a major contributor to the team that negotiated the recent groundbreaking deal for AMC Studios to develop exclusive co-branded content and high-quality original programming for Charter’s Spectrum platform. Queen says that, like the rest of the country, the cable industry is making strides toward greater inclusion. “There are young people coming into the industry that don’t all look alike, sound alike or think alike, and that is a testament to the industry today and it will be an asset for the industry in the future,” Queen says.
