Rodriguez oversees all Univision Communications marketing functions, including the Univision Agency, which creates and oversees all promotional, creative and media inventory valued at more than $500 million across the UCI’s broadcast, cable, radio and digital properties. What’s your biggest professional accomplishment in the past 12 months?

I am exceptionally proud of what we have been able to accomplish with the unification of Univision’s disparate marketing functions. It is especially gratifying to see consistency through all of our efforts and platforms – an alignment that truly elevates our mission. I am also moved by the amazing work of our Women’s Leadership Council, which has developed and delivered a meaningful and inspirational platform to enrich our leaders of tomorrow.

How can cable better support diversity?

In addition to creating a strong pipeline of entry level and middle management talent, ensuring that this pipeline feeds into the highest levels of the organization including c-suite and the board is pivotal to improving diversity in our industry.
