Under Giddens’ leadership, the freshly minted Universal Kids (formerly Sprout) has had month-to-month growth on key digital platforms. She’s also evolved Sprout Playground, the network’s free app experience for kids, and recently she paired up with PromaxBDA Promo Pathway program to pipeline diverse talent into open positions within NBCUniversal. “I love taking the time to let my mentees express and include me in where they are on their career journey as a vocal collaborator rather than reliving my past experiences with them,” Giddens says. “I can use my working knowledge and experiences to participate real time with them in different or new ways to approach their current experience.”
