Barnard leads the Cox Central Region, a footprint spanning four states, 710,000 customers and nearly 2,500 employees. Previously, she was SVP/GM of Cox Northern Virginia. Her strategic focus has centered around localism, customer service and employee engagement. With that comes the task of ushering her teams and customers through change. “I don’t take lightly the impact that decisions I make may have on them,” she says. An additional challenge is “keeping the voice of the customer at the forefront in a world that requires mass personalization.”
