Effective in October, Vines now sits at the helm of Cox’s Southeast Region. It’s a well-earned promotion. She began her cable career in 1984 with Time Warner Cable in Dublin, OH, as a receptionist, and rose through the ranks. In 2000, Vines returned to Louisiana to become VP/GM of Cox’s Baton Rouge area. Her honors include the 2010 Virgil Evans Lifetime Achievement Award from the LCTA, but she always manages to find time for her three daughters.
