With more than two decades of multimedia experience under her belt, Hernández is pushing the envelope on driving audience and revenue growth surrounding Hispanic consumers across the company’s businesses and brands—which amount to 21 cable TV networks, two broadcast nets, digital properties, Universal Pictures and Universal theme parks. Nowhere was her prowess more visible in recent months than during the summer Olympic Games in Rio, for which NBCU Telemundo Enterprises served up a marathon of integrated cross-platform coverage. Previously as Telemundo’s COO, Hernández was behind Telemundo’s major rebrand and its domestic revenue, integrated marketing and branded entertainment initiatives, as well as overseeing the network mun2.
