Still the gold standard when it comes to authenticated content, HBO Go remains at the top of the TV Everywhere peak with an app that customers simply love. Of course, its popularity can sometimes cause problems, such as when massive demand for the season finale of “True Detective” in March temporarily crashed the system. But for the most part, this incredibly easy-to-navigate portal not only works wonderfully but also provides a rich library of HBO content, allowing any HBO subscriber to discover old HBO series while they also catch up on the latest of the premium net’s latest series. It’s hard to find fault in HBO Go. And others continue to emulate it with mixed success.
