What makes you most excited about this industry as you advance in your career?

The industry is ever evolving, and we are at a point of tremendous shift given the technology and choices that consumers now have in their homes and in their hands. Working in Digital Distribution and collaborating with our partners offers me the opportunity to shape the way in which consumers will be entertained and informed in the future.

Who has been your biggest mentor and why?

My mother has owned and operated her own successful business throughout my entire life. As a child I learned so much about interacting with clients and how to treat employees and co-workers through countless days shadowing her when I was not at school. And I learned the importance of commitment and dedication to projects while watching her work late at night in our home. I think of her when I’m challenged in my work and apply the lessons she subconsciously taught me.

What three things can’t you live without?

Morning walks with my dog. It offers me time to slow down, appreciate the changing seasons and reflect on the small delightful things all around us.

Time away from New York City at least once a week. The City is demanding, stimulating and requires you to be “on” all the time. Heading out for at least a day with my husband is always refreshing.

Regularly scheduled cultural events with family and friends. Opera, theatre (my career prior to NBCUniversal), art exhibitions – take your pick.
