Wading into turbulent health care waters, Gene negotiated for a new set of medical and dental plans with insurance carriers, moving Hallmark to a calendar benefit year. Gene also is Hallmark’s liaison with the Emma Bowen Foundation, which brings interns to the network each summer in what has become a very successful program.
