Strachan-Chun has headed Ovation’s marketing and brand strategy since its relaunch in 2007. Her latest efforts include attracting new viewers to off-network programming such as “So You Think You Can Dance” and making advocating for the arts and arts education a part of Ovation’s identity. She’s also helped forge partnerships with more than 100 visual and performing arts institutions, cultural agencies and arts education organizations. What drew her initially to cable? “My passion for creativity – ideas and content – and who can say no to Gerry Laybourne?,” she says.
