The always-upbeat Lopez is a board member of the Institute for Executive Leadership on Diversity at Rutgers University and the recipient of many awards, including Comcast’s President Award and the Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement Salute to Excellence Award. To boot, he’s working on a book to help college graduates find their path and break into different industries. Some of the advice he gives them? “Clearly define what it is they love to do, find industries that provide opportunities to do what they love to do, find out who specifically is doing what they love to do within those industries, meet them, talk to them, and find out how they arrived to their position.”
