When it comes to studio enhancements, production, and mobile technology development, it’s hard to beat ESPN. Especially on Monday Night. The net’s new Monday Night Football production trucks are the first of their kind in television production technology, touting more fuel efficiency, stronger and lighter materials, and 3,392 square feet of usable workspace with 86 operating workstations. The units also house one of the largest routers – if not the largest – on a mobile production unit, allowing all four trucks act as one and operate off of a single router. Meanwhile, SportsCenter and other studio shows to access game footage almost immediately. We have to say: Pretty cool…
