Say you work in cable, and “friends” are bound to ask you if you can get them a job at ESPN. But while a gig at the King of Sports Media remains a fantasy for most, ESPN employees live that dream every day. Debates over sports costs and carriage fees rage on, but that kind of crowd noise does little to tamp the enthusiasm of these dedicated ESPN employees. In addition to a free fitness center, an on-site subsidized daycare center that just opened last fall, eldercare options and tuition reimbursement, employees also get generous discounts to Disney resorts, hotels, cruises and merchandise. And no, we can’t get you a job there!
