Nikoo has undying interest, motivation, and perseverance, and she knows how to break through barriers to achieve her goals and the goals of the people she works with. This die-hard tennis fan has gone to the U.S. Open every year since moving to New Jersey in 1995, which is particularly interesting because the event uses Blonder Tongue equipment for its video distribution, which gave her behind-the-scenes access. Her best trick for maintaining the personal-professional life balance is “be yourself and be true to yourself.”

How can cable do better job at supporting the industry’s women?

Focus and Awareness-  Events like this and WICT help. For the women in the industry to “spread the word” by being a mentor and bringing in other mentors/sponsors (whether they be man or woman).

Best trick for maintaining the personal-professional life balance?

Be yourself and be true to yourself.  Your life balance may be completely different than another’s, but it’s yours (or mine in this case  ).

When not in the office, where are we most likely to find you?

With my family- whether it be walking in the park, at home cooking, traveling for college visits or at a new great restaurant.
