More than two years on the job at Discovery in the U.K., Brown focuses on business process improvement and re-engineering throughout the company. She leads daily and weekly tactical efforts among IT, broadcast and vendor resources for Discovery’s “Project Americas,” supports multiple critical corporate applications across Discovery’s European business and spearheads production issue resolution with internal staff and vendors. Best advice she’s received? “Try to do things that scare you.”

What makes you most excited about this industry as you advance in your career?

Sports on TV. Sports will never become outdated, but there is the scope and technology to  allow viewers to engage in new ways and interact with sports more than ever before. What’s exciting is how do we plug into that passion in new ways.
