Casanas landed a promotion this year and now leads human resources strategy for CNN Worldwide, a position focused on employee relations, talent management and organizational design. As CNN continues to develop its programming strategy with an emphasis on breaking news and nonfiction series, she’ll play a key role in recruiting and retaining the talent who will make it happen. Casanas is a WICT Betsy Magness Leadership Institute Fellow, a certified Benchmarks 360 instrument facilitator through the Center for Creative Leadership and a NAMIC Executive Leadership Development Program graduate.
