As the worldwide CTO for Comcast’s advertising organization, Yu oversees engineering operations, complete lifecycle product development and high-level technical architecture design. As such, she’s at the forefront of Comcast’s efforts to accommodate new technology and business models within an evolving advertising market. Yu was formerly FreeWheel’s co-founder and CTO, where she led the architecture and operation of FreeWheel’s video monetization platform. Regarding diversity, she praises Comcast for its efforts. “Professionals with different perspectives are getting together, advocating what they believe, increasing the awareness of what the organization can benefit from having those voices heard.”
