For the past two years, West has led BET Networks digital brands, including BET.com, BET Mobile, BET on Demand and BET’s digital download offerings. He’s doing it right, with BET.com experiencing record-breaking numbers this summer. BET.com saw a 100% increase in unique users for BET Awards ’09 versus the BET Awards ’08 day of show, and had the best two-day total for unique users in BET.com history for the day of show and day after. West is also on the boards of Dress for Success and IMPACT Coalition, a non-profit that advocates debate as a key to success in building healthier communities.
