Promoted to her current role in May 2013, Picciolo implements best practices across the entire technical operations organization for residential services. That puts her front-and-center for the MSO’s highly publicized “TWC Maxx” initiative, which focuses on ultra-fast HSD and next-generation video services. She identifies pending mergers as the biggest story in cable this year. “These deals represent the evolution and changing face of our industry—and change is what I love and thrive on!,” she says.

What’s been the biggest story in cable this year?

It would definitely have to be industry consolidation, including our planned merger with Comcast—and Comcast’s subsequent deal with Charter—as well as the AT&T and DirecTV deal. These deals represent the evolution and changing face of our industry—and change is what I love and thrive on!

How do you define a successful career?

A successful career is one that makes you happy and truly enjoy going to work every day, while being passionate about the work and the people. It is about making a difference in what you do as an individual and how you impact others.

When not in the office, where are we most likely to find you?

When I am not working, you’ll find me with my husband and kids. Although these days, we need to schedule time together since our kids are in college and have developed into strong independent people.
