Olmstead was promoted this year to also oversee Wilshire Studios, a hub for unscripted content that’s part of the NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment portfolio. That means she oversees a slate of more than 100 scripted and unscripted series in development across NBCU Cable as well as at external networks and streaming services. Her work has contributed to the creation of USA’s award-winning “Mr. Robot” and has helped the series pick-up of “Falling Water,” E!’s “The Arrangement,” Bravo’s “My So Called Wife,” and Syfy’s “Incorporated.” She also sealed deals with improv and sketch comedy troupe Upright Citizen’s Brigade, producers Charlie Ebersol and Andy Parker, and former USA executive Jackie de Crinis.
