Cohen’s main duties include government affairs and community investment, and he’s key to getting the proposed Comcast-TWC merger approved. But he’s also the driving force behind the launch of Internet Essentials, an ambitious broadband adoption plan designed to get more Americans online and narrow the digital divide. Since its launch in 2011, the program has connected an estimated 1 million low-income people to the Internet at home and hosted in-person digital literacy training sessions for more than 20,000 participants. Conde, who in late-2013 left Univision for a key NBCU leadership role, is honing his focus on business development, strategic priorities and overseeing both general and international markets. He also works on special, domestic enterprise-wide projects.
