Hegar is responsible for field operations in the Carolinas region, but he doesn’t just lead a team of Charter employees. The Air Force veteran also serves the surrounding community. Recently he represented Charter as one of the companies supporting a new Career Resource Center opening on the Fort Bragg Army base in North Carolina, where training for jobs within Charter and six other companies will take place. The initiative will help hire veterans more quickly and help transition service members. Hegar himself is a veteran that successfully transitioned from active duty.
