The past year has been one of transition at TV One, with Proctor leading significant changes to the network’s programming lineup. In the wake of her successful launch of “NewsOne Now,” Proctor helped spearhead the addition of an extra hour of news programming in the morning. Demonstrating that she has her finger on the pulse of viewers, she also infused more true crime programming into TV One’s slate. Proctor points to “unadulterated competition” as the biggest change she’s seen in the industry, but if her track record is any indication, she’s up for the challenge.
