Everman believes in building a strong team by empowering and involving employees at all levels of the organization, and encourages everyone to find their passion. She started her cable career with Warner Amex Communications (the company was sold to Viacom later) in 1981, as part of a team charged with implementing a two-way interactive cable system. Before leaving Time Warner Cable, her focus was around building and deploying systems to support the Customer Value Creation program, which aims to provide better database marketing and campaign management technologies. She was also instrumental in helping regional teams achieve operational efficiencies such as call center sharing.
