Henninger sings “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” in the shower, and he uses that supportive management style to empower his 7,000 employees in the California Region. Henninger launched the Xfinity Home security and home automation service, deployed Comcast’s Internet Essentials broadband adoption initiative in California, and upgraded the broadband network in San Mateo’s downtown underground utility district and the Sonora foothills. He also hired the first woman to oversee Comcast operations for the Silicon Valley and San Francisco. Well done!

Charter-Cox’s September to Remember

If Charter and Cox manage to close their $34.5 billion merger by Sept. 15, the combo will happen around the time of SCTE TechExpo. It wouldn’t be the first time Charter closes a big deal around a major industry event, but there’s still work to do in California.
