Combining a traditional & well-known holiday brand such as Hallmark with the bleeding edge tech of Virtual Reality might seem like a mismatch, but The Hallmark Channel’s “Countdown to Christmas” Virtual Reality Roller Coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain in LA created magic alright, taking its riders on a fantastic ride in Santa’s Sleigh. Clever branding included logo incorporation inside the digital world, and innovations such as allowing the consumer to throw virtual snowballs during the experience made this ride a winner.
