A leading creative force at BET, Orlando brings innovative ideas as both an executive, and executive producer of BET’s annual “Black Girls Rock Awards.” Under Orlando’s leadership, “The BET Awards” this year saw a ratings increase of 16 percent over last year, reaching 22 million viewers. Additionally, Orlando is in charge of the “BET Truth Series,” which produced original documentaries “Katrina 10 Years Later: Through Hell in High Water” and the NAACP Award-winning “Muhammad Ali: The People’s Champ.”
