The late night wars continue, but at least one crown now solidly rests upon the ginger brow of Conan O’Brien: he’s the talk-show King of Comic-Con. AT&T joined forces with Conan’s awkward week-long “nerd-in,” recognizing his appeal among technophiles and mobile data users. With a floor presence and branded tie-ins to Conan’s show, the effort paid off, promoting AT&T’s 360 VR mobile platform and delivering millions of impressions, brand awareness, and press coverage.
