She’s behind Scripps’ CSR initiatives and its digital and social media communications strategy. McConkey volunteers for myriad industry organizations, such as WICT and NCTA, and she’s also a board member of Knoxville’s YWCA. Whenever she can, she hits the outdoors. “Anything that gets me closer to nature, whether that’s hiking, snow skiing, paddling in a canoe or even yard work makes me happy. And it’s even better if the family is along!”
