In a team of only two, Yeotsas manages all behind-the-scenes processes and mechanics of corporate communications. Her knowledge of ratings metrics proved particularly invaluable during the 2014 holiday season for both Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. “As the industry continues to evolve, I really look forward to learning about new, innovative ways to connect viewers with great content,” she says.

What makes you most excited about this industry as you advance in your career?

The creative and fast-paced energy that powers everything. As the industry continues to evolve and change, I really look forward to learning about new, innovative ways to connect viewers with great content. I also feel lucky to be able to talk about film and television all day and I’m excited to see how the conversation will shift in the future.

What is the best advice you’ve ever gotten? 

The best piece of advice I’ve ever received is to take risks while also enjoying the present moment. The notion of bringing an open, bold mindset to the table has definitely transferred itself to my career, where another great piece of professional advice I’ve received is to pursue and be welcoming of new responsibilities even if they’re not within your job description.

What tech item or social platform could/couldn’t you live without?

Like so many others, I cannot live without my iPhone. While I could live without social media, I wouldn’t want to; I love Instagram and YouTube.
