Satchell is Comcast Cable’s go-to guy for product innovation. Leading product design and development efforts throughout the company’s business lines, he’s having a great year. During the past 12 months he and his team delivered the Olympics Next-Generations Cable experience, which includes a synchronized sports app with real-time information on 800 Olympic events; launched Xfi nity xFi, a customizable WiFi experience for home WiFi networks; and introduced the xFi Advanced Gateway—billed as the most powerful home gateway available anywhere—with an 8×8 array that allows it to handle the simultaneous demands of multiple devices. One of his priorities for the coming year is incorporating voice control into additional products.
