Over the years, Charter has grappled with financial strife and other issues. Yet many employees have stuck it out through good times and bad, and now the future’s looking especially bright with ex-Cablevision domino Tom Rutledge firmly at the reigns. The company already offers numerous perks, including its 401K match, tuition reimbursement, day-care discounts, telecommuting options and in-house training under Charter University.
