Conde remains at the top by evolving as the world turns. His expertise at developing content, branding, marketing and super-serving viewers has been
a beacon as NBCU broadens its audience reach. As viewers of Telemundo can attest, what the network today bills as a telenovela is not your grandmother’s
soap opera anymore. After years of airing a specifi c format (telenovelas had a beginning, middle and an end), Telemundo has taken a new approach, upping
production values and adding additional seasons to programs, calling these new shows “super series.” Content has changed, too, as stories involve immigration
and living in major US cities like L.A. and NY. “Latinos are rapidly evolving, and Telemundo is evolving with them to create high quality content in Spanish, across all platforms,” Conde says.
