In her role, she navigates numerous areas of the business with a keen understanding of the different needs each entity brings to the table. Lightcap’s extensive executive experience and business acumen is sought after by various Discovery business units due to her strong understanding of the global business, as well as regional priorities and needs. Under her leadership, the network secured a fourth consecutive year of record ratings. She started her career as a news reporter and is fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
