Extensive research by Burrell led to the revelation that African Americans love TV, but feel there is a dearth of content that represents their lives. The firm’s strategy was to create and market CelebrateBlackTV.com, a destination for black entertainment within the XFINITY.com site. In its first year, the site has logged more than 1.9 million visitors, 190% of goal.
