Heading up the Audience Research team, which tracks, analyzes and reports the Nielsen ratings/audience data, Trangucci is a rising star in the research world. However, his dream job has little to do with data: Starting pitcher for the New York Yankees. “The ever-changing cable environment is most exciting to me,” he says. “Nothing is ever boring. Not only are there new programs every year but there are constantly new platforms to consume content.”
