Samuels is one of those guys you never count out, and that became apparent in 2013 when after losing Time Warner Cable and Bright House carriage he led the effort to re-open negotiations, securing carriage as of Jan. 1, 2014. He also oversaw recent carriage deals with RCN New York and Hawaii Telcom, along with the launch of Ovation HD on AT&T U-verse.
