Upped to her new post in April, Jones recently launched the automated measurement service for national TV advertisers Placemedia as well as a new company website for advertisers and partners. Passionate about mentoring and cultivating new talent with a focus on diversity, Jones is one of the company’s trainers. “I find success in the accomplishments of those I influence,” she says. “A successful career to me means an entire team is successful, not just one person.”

Best trick for maintaining the personal-professional life balance?

Be in the moment wherever you are. If it’s at work – be at work. If at home – be at home. And accept that it’s okay not to be the best at everything, all the time. There are things that are going to suffer at times, and there are things that are going to be exceptionally awesome at other times. I celebrate the small successes of each day so I don’t get caught up in the small misses. And it helps that I have a very supportive husband too.

When not in the office, where are we most likely to find you?

As the mommy to two precious little boys (Silas age 6 and Sawyer age 5) our household is never boring! We spend our evenings and weekends running, playing and enjoying time as a family.
