Baskets follows Zach Galifi nakis’ character of Chip Baskets, whose dream it is to become a French clown. But he doesn’t speak French. And his French wife is using him for a visa. And the best he can do is become a rodeo clown, which pays a pittance. Baskets never quite becomes the perfect clown—but he clowns in real life, by accident, better than any clown could.
