Among cable advertising’s most influential leaders, Manos leads ad and sponsorship sales across all AMC networks. This year she oversaw a shift in operations, combining the sales teams for AMC and SundanceTV to create efficiencies for the company’s advertising partners. It’s just another example of her strategic vision that continues to drive success. Despite standard upfront volume being down in the 2014-15 season, AMC Networks’ advertising sales was up double-digits. As for balancing professional and personal life, Manos says to “attend to the present danger. Pay attention to whichever pot on the stove is looking like it is about to boil over. Turn that down first.”

 

What’s the most important aspect of mentoring? 

The ability for both the mentor and mentee to learn from one another.
