Pope brings 20 years of experience in the cable industry to his position, where he leads 1,900 employees and the day-to-day operations of six Cox markets: Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Acadiana, Gulf Coast/Florida, Central Florida and Middle Georgia. He applies his extensive leadership skills and industry knowledge to the operations, customer experience and employee development sectors of the company. He also enjoys giving back to the community and is passionate about the Boys & Girls Clubs, mentoring young males and being active in his church. “Growing up in rural Mississippi,” Pope says, “I have always felt compelled to pay it forward especially through mentoring. As many as one-fourth of young men grow up in fatherless households, so reaching out and supporting this demographic is one way I’ve tried to make a difference.”
