Kane has fostered a relationship with online retailer Wayfair, helping its ROI with strategically placed commercials. In turn, Wayfair has become Cooking Channel’s top retail client. She has also brought in new advertisers, including AT&T. She says her father is her biggest mentor. “Whether it was in sports or business school, my dad taught me to be tough when the going gets hard and to never give up on what you believe in.”

What makes you most excited about this industry as you advance in your career?

The industry itself has changed and grown so much over the past few years. I’m excited to be a part of this next phase and have a direct impact on clients marketing goals as we head into the future.

What would be your ultimate dream job?

Vogue Fashion Editor or professional athlete (NBA)

Who has been your biggest mentor and why?

My father. Whether it was in sports or business school, my dad taught me to be tuff when the going gets hard and to never give up on what you believe in.

What three things can’t you live without?

My family, the beach, pizza… and running if I could add a fourth.
