The network’s ad sales department delivered 22 percent higher net revenue as well. She believes cable has done a better job than most industries in supporting women “because women were there from the beginning. To this day, there are many women at the top in cable, which is crucial in helping to create open and diverse corporate cultures.”

Best trick for maintaining the personal-professional life balance?

Love what you do. My kids know that I love what I do and are happy for me and want to feel a part of it.  Their support is critical to keeping everything in balance.

When not in the office, where are we most likely to find you?

I’d like you to find me on the golf course, ski slopes, softball field or beach.  Where you’ll probably find me is doing emails at home while catching up on TV shows that I missed.
