Block brings three decades of experience to his position, which has helped successfully lead the only independent cable company that’s serving a metropolitan area to great heights. Favorite Cable Show memory: Tom Wheeler, president of the NCTA, at the 1983 convention (my first) giving a rousing speech in favor of cable legislation that finally passed Congress a year later as the Cable Act.
