As a working mother of two kids under age 3, Shapiro says she has learned quickly that behind every busy woman is a team. She describes hers as one of the best in the business, and the results are definitely there. “A day never passes when I am not grateful to them for their contributions and commitment,” she says. Shapiro recently shepherded USA’s move from cable into the broadcast Upfront Week and played a pivotal role in developing the “Characters Welcome” brand identity.
