Univision ranked as the fifth most-watched network in primetime, regardless of language, among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49 for the entirety of 2014. Why? Look no further than these three execs. Ciurana led the positioning of the net as younger and more male-oriented, solidified by alternative series “La Viuda Negra.” And he continues to drive Univision’s entertainment slate with pioneering collaborations including Latino boy band search “La Banda” (The Band) with Simon Cowell. In a tough marketplace, Turner’s team closed the 2014 Upfront with growth in both volume and price including the most successful sports sales effort in the company’s history with the FIFA World Cup. With Rodriguez as team captain, UDN ranked as the fastest-growing sports cable network regardless of language in 2014, in both total day and primetime. As the exclusive Spanish-language rights holder in the U.S. for the FIFA World Cup tournament, the network delivered the most extensive FIFA World Cup coverage in the history of Spanish-language television in the U.S., reaching nearly 81 million Total Viewers, a 65 percent increase over the 2010 presentation. And let’s not forget MLS. Rodriguez has big plans for league coverage thanks to a new eight-year agreement.

The day we get multiplatform measurement is the day… Univision will be No. 1 regardless of language in the U.S., as Hispanics continue to over-index in the use of mobile devices.

My favorite newfound hobby: It’s not a new hobby, but my all-time favorite hobby is driving my Harley long distances. I call it “air therapy.”
